The Mall of Qatar opened in December 2016 in Al Rayyan, on the Northern edge of Doha with a floor area of approximately 350 000m2. Located adjacent to the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, one of the host stadiums in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Mall of Qatar is home to the world’s first alcohol-free Curio Collection by Hilton, and an IMAX Laser 3D projection system. The ‘MOQ Live’ Act, featuring the world’s first in-house theatre crew, showcasing 360-degree acts and shows performed on the multi-lift rotating Festival Stage.

Pranil was acting as the Commercial Director, assiting the client on a day-to-day basis with commercial management. The project was the first super mall to open in Qatar, housing all the most luxurious designer brands.. HIT Staff were instrumental in providing full commercial services to the main Contractor and HIT continues to advise the Main Contractor on numerous claims, variations, and ongoing project-related issues.
